April 29: Walking Together for a Better World

Are you concerned about the state of the world and the future of our planet and our community? Are you looking to connect with people to focus on the common values we share: concern for fellow human beings, and love for the natural world? On Saturday, April 29th, local groups are organizing a walk from Hillcrest Park to Waverley Park (starting at 2 pm) to re-affirm and celebrate our humanity.

Wear a costume, sing a song, carry a banner, support an art project, or just come as you are!

Will you join us?

This will be a family-friendly event, and all welcome. The walk will take place rain or shine, and St. Paul’s United Church has graciously offered us space to connect should the weather not cooperate.

If you are part of a group that would like to participate or interested in helping out with organization, please contact Julee Boan (Ontario Nature) at juleeb@ontarionature.org. Hosted by Ontario Nature and Environment North.
